Skin Boosters Aftercare

First 24 Hours

  • Avoid touching, massaging or applying pressure to the treated area.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol where possible.
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, sunbeds and excessive heat.
  • Avoid applying makeup for at least 12 hours.

First Week

  • Continue using a broad-spectrum SPF daily.
  • Maintain good hydration by drinking plenty of water.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure.
  • Avoid chemical peels, microneedling and other skin treatments.
  • Mild redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or small bumps at the injection sites are normal and usually settle within a few days.

One Week

  • Apply SPF daily.
  • Keep the skin hydrated.
  • Avoid introducing active skincare, exfoliating products or new skin treatments unless advised by the clinic.

When To Seek Advice

  • Increasing pain or significant swelling.
  • Skin colour changes, including white, grey or dusky skin, or blistering.
  • Signs of infection, including spreading redness, warmth or discharge.
